The Methodology

What the CURVE(TM) measures

Every vendor in a CURVE(TM) Report is plotted on two axes: Offering Strength (Capability · Velocity) and Enterprise Fit (Readiness · Ecosystem). Bubble size represents Uptake. The CURVE(TM) itself is the performance frontier - the achievable best at each point in the market.

Distance below the frontier is not a judgment - it is a measurement. It tells you exactly how far a vendor must travel to match what the best competitors have already built. That gap is what every buyer and vendor needs to know.

Four Tiers

Frontier - On or near the performance frontier. Sets the bar.
Rising - Closing the gap. Strong trajectory, measurable momentum.
Trailing - Below the frontier. Capability or fit gaps visible.
Emerging - Early-stage. Worth watching; not yet enterprise-ready.
